The 26th edition of ‘Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week’ brought together more than 500 designs created by 21 signatures of prestige both at national & international level on the runway & all changed the way we see & feel the wedding gown: a multicultural platform of the ‘prêt-à-couture’ of wedding fashion.

Japanese tradition of observing the beauty of flowers suggested Inmaculada Garcia’s ‘Hanami’ collection so that the runway dressed in cherry blossoms to present ‘My Essentials’ in tight patterns made with chantilly, lace & chiffon, ‘My Couture’ haute couture in silk combined with embroidered tulle, gazar & Jacquard & ‘My Secrets’, with mousseline & organza.
The captivating Isabel Sanchís flirted with a breath-taking lady effect, risky colors, clean designs, volumes & a futuristic touch all with an endless amount of floral appliqués.
Body language under puffy tully clouds adorned with leather jackets & corsets uncork overlaps & combination of colours & fabrics. Simply put, Jordi Dalmau.
With Parson James on stage, extreme drama accompanies Justin Alexander’s collection before the standard of discreet elegance in princess style dresses and siren line.
Marco&Maria rescue the cancan & reedit the 19th theater to turn it into a bucolic story giving in the fragility to the lace, the poetic necks & butterfly sleeves.
‘Romance’, Matilde Cano‘s new collection, is made up of dresses of damasked, brocade & mikado fabrics from plumetti, tulle & chantillí.
Patricia Avendaño promotes the rounded waist, crepe & the corolla skirt in ‘ Élan d’amour ‘(love impulse) in tulle, silk & organza with side pockets, invisible zippers, metallic belts, sashes & leather jackets.
