NEW BUILDING BORN WITH STAR
This pavilion-house avoids any formal relationship with the historic main house. The character of this new building is complementary in function, but in no way in form. It seeks to transmit sensations through its shape & materiality. Each of the elements contributes sensation, splendour & texture, generating a singular atmosphere. Glass is chosen as the main element.
We integrate ecology. The extension of plants to the building façades shows potential to improve air quality & reduce surface temperature in the built environment.
We have in mind the interpretation of nature in each area thinking about a common language, the well-being of its people & different types of openings.
When thinking of a common architectural language, the natural references in each space are interpreted for the well-being of the inhabitants by encouraging different degrees & types of openness.
How important are the characteristics of the glass in this pavilion house?
With the well-being of the residents in mind, this project highlights the model of environmentally responsible construction.

The type of the volumes allows sunlight & cross ventilation in all the rooms. In contrast, the floating volume enables day light in while keeping the interior shaded.
