Last 25th february tradition reappearanced at the Hotel Princesa Sofia when TOT-HOM revealed incorruptible spring-summer collections for this 2016 to a committed clientele filled with nuances and sharp approaches on how to balance the lives of women today, more complex than ever. In its prêt-à-Porter, a snap of delicacy, color and comfort sailed along a ferocious fashion show of simple sophistication that makes life easier for us (to women). On how to rescue the 70s vive and dress up the trendy cropped flare jeans, TOT-HOM conquers.

Its unique ‘Línea A’ showed slightly demanding but very useful combinations to confront the daily life, and, to the beat of the new times, Tot-Hom highlights this collection with comfortable and men footwear.

In Haute Couture, Tot-Hom fused fabrics in a single suit with extraordinary craftsmanship detail while we were bewitched with flowers and more flowers, tulle and seduction weapons causing us sparkles for dresses in dupioni silk. The bright red, the electric blue, the greens and the pompous yellow broke the language of the exhibition dressing the runway with superb clothing items.

Empire and ballerina line dresses dip Tot-Hom Wedding collection in a new romanticism resulting immaculate dresses in silks dupioni and gazaar with hand embroidery without visible seams.

A performance that travelled to the 50s with flounced dresses that twist in hyperfeminine silhouettes when Cristóbal Balenciaga built the architecture of his garments to fit in body contouring. Both succeeded in their purpose (Tot-Hom brand and designer Balenciaga).

La tradición regresó al Hotel Princesa Sofía el pasado 25.02 cuando Tot-Hom destapó insobornables colecciones de primavera-verano para este 2016 a una clientela devota colmadas de matices y agudos planteamientos sobre cómo equilibrar la vida de la mujer de hoy, más compleja que nunca. En su línea Pret-à-Porter, un estallido de finura, color y comodidad navegó por un desfile demoledor de sofisticación simple que nos facilita la vida (a la mujer) y, sobre cómo rescatar los aires setenteros y vestir la tendencia de los pantalones pesqueros de campana, Tot-Hom vence.

 

 

 

Su singular Línea A mostró combinaciones poco exigentes pero muy útiles para afrontar el día, y, al compás de los nuevos tiempos, predomina el calzado cómodo y masculino.

 

 

 

En Alta Costura, fundió géneros en un solo traje con extraordinario detalle artesanal mientras nos hechizaba con flores y más flores, tul, y seducción a fuego lento desatando chispas por vestidos en seda dupioni. El rojo brillante, el azul eléctrico, los verdes y el amarillo pomposo rompieron el lenguaje del desfile vistiendo la pasarela de soberbias piezas.

 

 

Los cortes imperio y bailarina bañan su colección Novias en un nuevo romanticismo resultando vestidos impecables en sedas dupioni y gazaar con bordados a mano sin uniones visibles.

Un espectáculo que viajó a la década de los 50 con volantes que se retuercen en siluetas hiperfemeninas cuando Cristóbal Balenciaga construía la arquitectura de sus prendas para que encajaran en el contorneo del cuerpo y triunfaron en su propósito (la marca Tot-Hom y el diseñador Balenciaga).
