According to legends, in ancient Greece, the goddess of wisdom and war Athena handed men olive branches when achieving battlefield victories. The best outfits of the collection, inspired by symbolism and culture, were marked by the richness of textures, the strength of the contrasts and the magnetism of the lines.
Finally, last but certainly not least, I should like to say that I missed they prompted a standing ovation at the end by including weavers, embroiderers and dressmakers who made costumes which were seen earlier on the catwalk as a gesture of recognition of their work.

Según las leyendas, en la Antigua Grecia, la diosa de la sabiduría Atenea brindaba a los hombres ramas de olivo al conseguir importantes victorias en los campos de batalla. Sin embargo, el poeta romano Virgilio le dotó de una simbología de paz que hasta hoy perdura y que se sustentó posteriormente con el cristianismo y la imagen de una paloma blanca sujetando en el pico un ramo de olivo. El pasado 29 de septiembre, Marta Rota, Andrea Osés y Alejandra Osés endiosaron a sus invitadas con una rama de olivo en su desfile de presentación de la colección de Otoño/Invierno 17.18 de Tot-Hom.
Resistir al frío del invierno es simple si adoptas la estrategia correcta. Basta con elegir la tonalidad y construir el estilismo capa sobre capa. Con esta colección de Tot-Hom, todo comienza con la vuelta a las raíces, que era el mantra de las diseñadoras. Retomar técnicas históricas, como el brocado, y encauzarlas hacia un contexto presente, que son acciones que persuaden.

Articular lo antiguo desde una perspectiva contemporánea. Así paseó el brocado, el tejido súmmum, que se aventuró por el Lejano Oriente en busca de reflexión y aportó sensacionalismo con notas asiáticas tejidas entre hilos dorados.
El acento tribal se refleja en algunos atuendos sirviéndose de variedad de colores, atuendos puramente artesanales, como son los bordados y detalles con pelo y plumas. Para recibir las heladas de la forma más dulce posible, un abrigo de pelo de fantasía ruborizará al frío.
Las modelos abrieron la colección con la corriente más joven de la colección, la Línea A, desde la que Alejandra Osés y Andrea Osés buscan transmitir una conexión más funcional, relajada y liberada con la moda. Si eres de las que acostumbras a pasar la semana de oficina en oficina y el fin de semana en la montaña, que sepas que desfilaron suficientes vestidos, abrigos, chaquetas y pantalones masculinos de sastre como para llenar tu guardarropa de un año completo con una paleta cromática que despertarán tus sentidos.
Si bien es cierto que el tartán pasó de imprimir las faldas escocesas a convertirse en el rey del estilo punk, ahora reaparece en abrigos y chaquetas. Y los abrigos con reminiscencias de los años 60, de sencilla botonadura y con un punto naif, alborotarán tus pasos.
Desde sus conocimientos de arquitectura moderna, las diseñadoras reinventan los brillos ancestrales con finísimos hilos con oro o plata. Si quieres deslumbrar con atuendos ultrafemeninos, apúntate al modo galáctico, que convertirá en tesoro cualquier estilismo. Y suma elegancia una rebelde combinándolo con tul, una fórmula más que ganadora y rockera.
Los colores que teñirán el invierno Tot-Hom son todos los neutros, ocres y mostazas, los tonos militares, escarlatas, bermellones y el azul denim y los tejidos que conquistarán cada prenda Tot-Hom son el otomán, tweed, las gasas y organzas, los brocados y las mejores lanas, como la de Piacenza. Los mejores estilismos de la colección, inspirada en la cultura y los simbolismos, estuvieron marcados por la riqueza de las texturas, el nervio de los contrastes y el magnetismo de las líneas.
Para rematar el look, con respecto a los accesorios, las palabras clave son artesanía y talla XL. Desde Carmina Rotger, se toman los accesorios de gran tamaño con acabado resina, y son ideales los brazaletes y collares con dijes, piedras, plumas o abalorios.

Por último y no menos importante, quiero decir que extrañé que originaran la ovación en pie final al incluir a las costureras, bordadoras y tejedoras que confeccionaron los trajes que se vieron minutos antes sobre la pasarela en un gesto de reconocimiento a su trabajo.
